Got Roofing Questions? We’ve Got Straight Answers.
If you’ve never replaced a roof before, it can feel overwhelming — insurance paperwork, timelines, materials, deductibles… it’s a lot. Here are the questions we get most often from homeowners in Colorado Springs, plus a few honest answers from Mark himself.
Q: How do I know if I need a new roof or just a repair?
We’ll inspect the damage and give you a straight answer. If we can repair it, we will. If the damage is too widespread or it won’t hold long-term, we’ll explain why a full replacement makes more sense.
No pressure. No up-selling. Just real info.
Q: Do I need to call my insurance company first?
Nope — call us first. We’ll inspect your roof and let you know if it’s even worth filing a claim. If it is, we’ll walk you through the process and meet with your adjuster to make sure nothing gets missed.
Q: How fast can you replace my roof?
If it’s an emergency or a storm just hit, we can usually:
- Inspect your roof within 24 hours
- Get materials delivered within 2–3 days
- Replace the roof in 1 day (most cases)
You could be fully reroofed within the same week.
Q: Do you help with insurance claims?
Absolutely. We help homeowners file, explain their policies, meet with adjusters, review paperwork, and even escalate if the claim gets denied or underpaid. We’ve worked with local agents and attorneys to help clients get what they’re owed.
Q: What does your lifetime labor warranty cover?
If we installed your roof and something fails due to labor or workmanship — we fix it, no charge. Period. It’s not a gimmick. It’s a promise.
(We’ll explain material warranties too — every shingle brand is a little different.)
Q: Can I pay out of pocket instead of using insurance?
Yes. We handle plenty of non-insurance jobs. We’ll give you a fair estimate and break down your options so you can decide what’s best for your budget.
Q: What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners across El Paso County, including:
- Colorado Springs
- Monument
- Peyton
- Falcon
- Fountain
- Security-Widefield
- Manitou Springs
…and surrounding areas.
Q: What kind of roofing do you install?
We work with:
- Asphalt shingles (most common in CO)
- Tile roofs
- Metal roofing
- Low-slope add-ons (garages, porches)
Q: Will a new roof increase my home value?
Yes — especially if your roof is over 15 years old or visibly worn. It also helps with curb appeal, insurance eligibility, and buyer peace of mind if you’re selling soon.
Q: Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re fully insured and licensed in Colorado. We also partner with licensed contractors for multi-family and commercial jobs when needed.
Q: What happens if my insurance claim gets denied?
If we believe the damage is legitimate, we’ll help escalate it. That could mean getting your agent involved, scheduling a reinspect, or even looping in an insurance attorney. We’ve had a lot of success reversing denied claims.
Q: Do you offer financing?
Not at this time, but we can often structure cash jobs into stages if needed. And if insurance is covering the work, you usually don’t pay anything upfront besides your deductible.
